According to the dictionary Purpose is:
the reason for which something exists or is done, made, used, etc., an intended or desired result; end; aim; goal, determination; resoluteness.
In the book Purpose Driven Life, Rick Warren says only the creator of something can tell you it’s purpose. Think about all the gadgets and gadgets we have, if someone from 100, 50, or in some cases even just 25 years ago came back they would have no idea what a can opener, television, cellphone even is must less what it’s for. If we weren’t there to explain it, they would have two choices ask the maker or refer to the users manual. What is Purpose?

According to the Dictionary:
- the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.”the purpose of the meeting is to appoint a trustee”
- motive, motivation, grounds, cause, impetus, occasion, reason, point, basis, justification “the main purpose of his visit”
- have as one’s intention or objective.”God has allowed suffering, even purposed it”
- intend, mean, aim, plan, design, have the intention, have in mind, have a mind
Purpose can guide life decisions, influence behavior, shape goals, offer a sense of direction and create meaning. For some people, the purpose is connected to vocation—meaningful, satisfying work. For others, their purpose lies in their responsibilities to their family or friends.
