Memorial Day, Celebrate but Always Remember!

Meaning of Memorial Say and some Suggested ways to Celebrate

Memorial Day is a day for for remembering those who passed away while serving in the United States Military. It should not be confused with Veterans Day, which celebrates the service of all military veterans. The holiday is currently celebrated on the last Monday in May and is considered the unofficial start of summer, while Labor Day is considered the end of summer.

As a military wife for 30+ years, I ask that you please take some time this Memorial Day to honor fallen soldiers. Take some flowers to a local veterans cemetery, fly a America flag, say the pledge of allegiance, call the spouse of a deceased military member, or take a few minutes to say a prayer for our country.
