The Importance of a Father and how NOT having one is Still Effecting Me
This post is different; it’s not about natural health, but in a way it is. Can a lifetime of longing, dreaming, and wanting cause someone to be unhealthy? I believe it can, because a life long dream of mine turned into a broken heart 💔 and therefore more depression, anxiety, and pain both physical and emotional. This is the hardest thing I have ever written, at least so far. Why am I writing it then? To give my readers insight into who I am, why I do what I do, and most of all hope; hope of healing, relief, and freedom from the pain and the dreams that will probably never come true and my struggle to be okay with that.
My Journey Life Changing Event
As I was saying, life changing to say the least!!!! A beautiful days drive, uneventful, relaxing, and almost home for the first time in two weeks. Us pulling the camper, our eleven year old son watching a movie in the back seat, and out teenage daughters following in the truck. Five o’clock Friday night traffic, on Interstate 75, just six miles from the Michigan/Ohio line we got into construction. Anyone who has lived in a northern state knows summer is construction season, they have to fix the roads while the weather is good cause winter is always right around the corner. The construction signs warned that once you cross the state line traffic shifts to the right lane and the shoulder of the highway, all semi trucks must travel in the left lane and not in the right lane, which was the shoulder of the highway. With us pulling a fully loaded camper my husband decided to stay in the far right lane (the shoulder lane), since we are slower moving traffic with the camper. Despite the warning signs the semi truck in front of us never heeded the warnings and did not move to the main lane of traffic, just six miles into Michigan we were approaching an exit with a decorative arched bridge when suddenly Inflammation could it be the Problem?

natural pain relief
This is a subject I know plenty about, mostly from first hand experience. Pain is the body’s way of saying stop, that hurts! It is a natural function of the body for self-protection. A great example of this is a hot stove. If you touch the stove you get a signal to your brain that says move your hand, that hurts! But many of us live with Chronic Pain daily. Chronic pain can be caused by so many things; an injury, illness, long-term diseases, or often no reason at all or a reason you can’t see (invisible illness). I think I’ve tried everything to ease my pain since our auto accident 12 years ago and in this article I want to share with you some products that have helped me.
weight loss suppliments
There are many weight loss supplements on the market today. They all claim to help you lose weight or at the very least make it easier for you to lose weight when combined with the old standard of diet and exercise.
These supplements work in one or more ways:
Reduce appetite, making you feel full so that you eat fewer calories.
Reduce absorption of nutrients like fat, making you take in fewer calories.
Increase fat burning, making you burn more calories.
CBD Oil Is it Legal? What is it? Will it Help Me?
Cannabinoid or CBD is the product many people have been using to alleviate the symptoms of various conditions, including chronic pain, anxiety, nausea, rheumatoid arthritis, schizophrenia, diabetes, PTSD, alcoholism, strokes and cardiovascular disease, cancer, and other ailments. If you haven’t already heard, Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive component of Cannabis that has a variety of therapeutic benefits. CBD is naturally occurring in the Hemp plant and according to the United States own government it supports the nutrition of aging bodies. Natural Muscle Relaxers
Muscle Cramps, spasms, Twitches, and tics are usually caused by vitamin and mineral deficiency or imbalance. Most cramping happens at night as minerals move between the blood, muscles, and bones. Muscle pain however can be caused by muscle strain, nerve compression, aging or injured joints, injuries, or diseases. The sudden or gradual onset of this pain can be distressing, especially if you have things that need to be accomplished or just want to relax. If you don’t want to take pills or more pills there are natural options. Photo Uploaded by: Natural Health Care
Cancer Natural Prevention
Cancer of the stomach, bowel, breast, cervix, pancreas, liver, and mouth can be strongly linked to your diet. Eating a diet high in both soluble and insoluble fiber helps safeguard us against the development of colon and possibly breast cancer.
Whole grains, brown rice, dried beans and lentils, and vegetables are a good source of insoluble fiber. Fresh produce provides beneficial amounts of vitamin C, vitamin E, and beta carotene, as well as, protective antioxidants and photo-chemicals that fight free radicals and stimulates the body’s defenses against a variety of cancers. They are also high in phytonutrients which are plant-based chemicals identified as active compounds in disease prevention. These compounds help regulate bodily functions and maintain health.
Living with Chronic Pain (My Journey) Part 1
Living with Chronic Pain (Part I It is something you will never understand until you are living it! I know this because 12 years ago I started the journey with Chronic Pain and it is something I will never escape. Chronic pain is something that’s with you all the time, you don’t sleep because the pain is to bad, you don’t go anywhere because there is no energy to go, and you isolate yourself from family and friends because you know, from experience, no one is going to understand!
Living with Chronic Pain (My journey part 2)
I discontinued the shots immediately, I got serious about chiropractic care, going three times a week faithfully, and I started to wean myself off the pills. I started with cutting one pain pill in half and reducing my daily meds by just that half pill. I knew that even though I was not physically addicted to the medication, my body had become dependent on having it and even though the relief was no longer what it had been in the beginning, my body thought it needed that medication just like it needed air. I kept strict notes on when I took the medication and how much I took, being careful to never go over the limit of one half a pill less. After one month I eliminated another half a pill, I continued to do this until I was down to no more than one pill a day.
Beating Chronic Fatigue
Hi y’all! I’m so excited to have this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you a little about me and what I do. I am originally from the Delta Region of Louisiana, where I grew up on a small family farm helping my grandmother in the garden and around the Bayou learning about nature, plants, herbs, and home remedies. I loved growing up on the farm and fell in love with natural remedies and healthy living. My grandmother sparked an interest in me that has become my passion and life’s work.
